Either the supply was too high, or Russians were short of funds. And probably, both reasons prevented an increase of prices. Moreover certain price recession was observed; and it did not concern Ukrainian production only, but cheeses of Belarusian and even Russian origin also.
In the end of November traditional cheeses of Russian origin were on sale at 180-205 RUR/kg (50% fat content).
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Production did not change indicative prices for cheese during one and a half month.
Prices of Ukrainian traditional cheeses were at 200-215 RUR/kg in the majority offers of distributors.
